A. Fees Payable

1. All tuition fees are payable in advance prior to the first class of the year. Payments may be made once-off, quarterly, termly, or monthly. After the initial tuition payment, the remaining payments for the year will be invoiced by A+Students.
2. A penalty fee of R60.00 per month will be charged on all late payments.
   • If tuition fees remain unpaid by the 15th of the month, the student’s membership and classes will be suspended.
   • An additional membership suspension fee of R175.00 will be charged.
   • The student may return to class once all outstanding fees have been paid.
3. An annual administration fee applies.
4. Examination fees will be invoiced separately and must be paid before the deadline.

B. Student Starter Kit & Study Materials

5. A+ Student Starter Kit fees are payable as indicated.
6. Follow-on books and materials order forms will be sent by you by your Sensei (teacher) when they are required.
7. 5.  Tuition fees must be up to date to receive the level’s books.
8. Students will receive the next level’s books only after:
   • Completion of the previous level, and
   • Payment for the next level’s books.
9. Any lost or damaged study materials or equipment must be replaced at the parent’s cost after written email confirmation.

C. Fees Payable

D. Cancellations & Non-Attendance

10. If a student fails to attend two consecutive sessions without prior notification, it will be considered that the student has discontinued the course.

• No refund or credit will be issued.
• A written one calendar month cancellation notice will still apply.

11. Students may rejoin if they wish, provided that all outstanding fees are paid in full.
12. Students are expected to attend all classes.

• Leave requests must be made at least one week in advance.
• Compensatory classes must be arranged by parents at a time convenient for the instructor.
• Special circumstances may be considered.

13. By signing the registration form, parents acknowledge that their child is registered for A+Students South Africa PTY Ltd  courses. You will receive classes from our franchisee and Acting -franchisees but remain a student of A+Students South Africa PTY Ltd DURING YOUR ENROLMENT WITH US. A one calendar month written NOTICE is required . Cancellation notice cannot be given for November or December.

 E. General Rules

14. Lessons are held weekly during school terms.

• There are no regular classes during school holidays.
• Holiday School may be arranged at a specific venue.
• External centers follow the state school calendar.

15. Students must attend classes, demonstrations, and competitions wearing the official A+Students uniform provided in the student kit.
16. Students must use only A+Students study materials and bring all materials to class.
17. Students should practice on the Soroban at home at least three times per week for 15 minutes (daily practice is recommended).
18. Homework and assignments must be completed and signed by parents before the next class.
19. A+Students Management reserves the right to make changes to centre operations or course structures for administrative or strategic reasons.
20. A+Students reserves the right to postpone the start of a course until a minimum of five students are enrolled.
21. Students must behave respectfully and maintain proper discipline during classes.

• Parents are responsible for any damage to property or harm caused by their child.

22. Parents may attend the first two classes only. After that, parents are not permitted in the classroom.
23. The Instructor (Sensei) or Centre Authorities may cancel a class with at least four hours’ notice, except in emergencies. An alternative arrangement will be made to compensate for the missed class.

F. Examinations

24. Students will write an examination after completing each Kuy Level.
25. Students must achieve the minimum international pass mark to be promoted to the next level.
26. Successful students will receive a internationally accredited certificates for the achieved level.
27. Examination fees will be invoiced separately and must be paid before the deadline.

G. Intellectual Property

28. All A+Students products and materials are protected by copyright. Unauthorized copying or distribution is prohibited.

29. If an A+Students teacher, Sensei, or franchisee terminates their association with A+Students SA PTY Ltd, OR A+Students SA PTY Ltd terminates their association with the teaccher, sensei or franchisees,  classes will be temporarily suspended until a new accredited sensei is appointed.
30. All techniques, methods, and trade secrets taught by A+Students SA PTY Ltd Sensei , acting-franchiseees or franchisees are for educational purposes only and the exclusive property of A+Students SA PTY Ltd.
31. Students or parents may not teach, distribute, or share the material with competitors or third parties.
32. Any breach may result in legal action, and each party will be responsible for their own legal costs.

H. Enrolment Notice

Your child will be enrolled with A+Students South Africa (Pty) Ltd through its franchisees.

I hereby undertake to absolve A+Students SA (Pty) Ltd, its Centres, Franchisees, Employees, and Owners from any claims arising from injury, loss, or damage to any child or personal possessions during the period of study, competitions, presentations, or demonstrations.

I confirm that I have read and understood the Rules and Regulations governing enrolment and agree to abide by them. I also undertake to be responsible at all times for the good conduct and behaviour of myself and my child/children, as well as for the payment of all outstanding fees.

I further acknowledge that no partial or full refund of fees will be claimed after accepting the course and signing the Enrolment Form.

I confirm that the fees, student starter kit, and study materials have been discussed and agreed upon between the applicant and the respective franchisee.
